• All material is protected by copyright law. Copyright Enhanced Learning Educational Services, 2007 – current. This website contains information, documents and images developed by and for Enhanced Learning Educational Services. 
• Only authorised users are to enter the site. If you are using a username and a password from another school you are illegally making use of the site. Instead, let your School Principal or Deputy Principal know about the site so they can sign your school up and be given a password for your school community. If your school has a primary and a high school this site is for the use of the high school community only.
• All rights reserved. No part of the material may be extracted, modified, altered, copied, printed or reproduced in Australia or in any other country by any process, electronic or otherwise, in any material form or transmitted to any other person or stored electronically in any form without the prior written permission of the Enhanced Learning Educational Services.
• The only exceptions to printing rights are the worksheets, summary sheets and PDF/Word attachments which can be printed only by authorised users of this site for use only by authorised users of this site and must include any copyright information on those pages. The only exceptions to modification are the Word versions of the worksheets which are set up for teachers to adapt for their students. Subscribers have permission to print materials from the THINGS TO PRINT page and copy use these with students only while they are a current subscriber to the site.

DATA PRIVACY

Students please note:
– We will never ask you for or collect your email address or surname.
– Do not contact us directly if you have questions as it is best for privacy and safety reasons if you do not email us but instead have your teachers or parents contact us through the contact us page.

1. WE RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY
We respect your right to privacy and are committed to safeguarding the privacy of users of our website. We adhere to the national privacy principles established by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Following is how we collect and treat your personal information ie any information that is identifiable about you.

2. COLLECTION AND MANAGEMENT OF DATA
– All students, parents and teachers log into the site with the same generic school username and password that everyone in the school uses. There are no unique identifiers of individual logins. See the link at the bottom of the page to read more about our password system.
– When students sign up for the tracking system to save quiz results (or when schools upload data for the tracking system) only the students first name and initial of their surname is provided by the student, no surname and no email address. Students select their own username and password for the tracking system. See the link at the bottom of the page to see the online form students fill in.
– To protect student privacy we do not collect student surnames or email addresses.  Teachers can ask us to add a student surname to our official certificates.
– Responses students submit in activities are anonymous or students will have the option to provide their first name only.
– If students wish to track their results in the quizzes, they set up tracking system logins. Students will need to enter their first name, surname initial, year level and school and choose their own tracking username and password. We do NOT request or collect student surnames or email addresses in the tracking system. The data collected is enough so that the teachers can identify the students, but ELES cannot.
– ELES does not collect cookies or any tracking information about your usages of websites.
– If students have any issues or queries their teachers or parents can contact us through the contact us link page. If students for some reason do not follow these instructions and email us directly, these emails can only be accessed by Dr Prue Salter and any replies from Dr Salter will also be also be bcc’ed to our contact teacher for the school. Student emails are then deleted. No student or parent email addresses are recorded or saved. All emails are then deleted regularly from the server.

3. STORAGE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION (Note we do not collect personal information!)
– Our website is hosted on our dedicated servers at Hostgator in the USA. We don’t have a specific location, but Hostgator servers are mainly in Atlanta, Georgia, Provo, Utah. Only ELES has access to this data. This consists of 2 people who have been working together for 15+years.
– Each year tracking system data is wiped for all students who would have finished Year 12 and no longer be in the high school system. This data consists of quiz results, but as outlined above, no surnames or email addresses are recorded or collected.

4. USE OF PERSONAL DATA
– ELES does not share any data with any other company or organisation.
– ELES does not access any of the student data (which does not include surname or email address) unless a teacher flags an issue with a student’s username or password.
– ELES only gives information such as a student’s username or password to a teacher from the same school as the student.

5. COMPLAINTS OR PRIVACY CONCERNS
– ELES provides contact details on the site so if you have any issues with the manner in which we maintain your privacy or personal information please have your parents or teachers contact us as we take all complaints seriously. If you remain dissatisfied you may refer the matter to Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
